I turned up Elton and mentioned "I haven't heard this one forever".

Himself is now on a mission to plague me with songs "I haven't heard forever".

<--currently listening to Tori Amos "Silent All These Years"

Chicks and ducks and geese better scurry
When I take you out in the surrey
When I take you out in the surrey with the fringe on top

Watch that fringe an' see how it flutters
When I drive them high-steppin' strutters
Nosy pokes will peak through their shutters and their eyes will pop!

The wheels are yellow, the upholstery's brown
The dashboard's genuine leather.
With eisenglass curtains you can roll right down
In case there's a change in the weather

Two bright side-lights winkin' and blinkin'
Ain't no finer rig I'm a thinkin'
You can keep yer rig if yer thinkin' that I'd keer to swap
Fer that shiny little surry with the fringe on the top!!

(which is how we evolved to Tori Amos in the first place......LOL)

I know, I KNOW!
Scary, huh?

no, not at all - it's making me smile. . .

I'm imagining When Harry Met Sally and all the other happy ending movies that I've seen Meg Ryan in and knowing that there's one out there for me somewhere. . .

". . .with a fringe on top!"

(but how do you then get to Ms Amos?!)

Oh, well, that's himself's fault.

(we DO deserve each other......LOL)

Himself (the keeper of facts--cuz he knows all sorts of facts) informed me that growing up with a preacher/father, Ms. Amos was allowed to listen to religious music only.......and the soundtrack for Oklahoma.

See! Living with me has affected the poor fella's brain.....LOL
