apparently his fellow astronauts were mildy irritated by his play list. . .

(when referring to Neil Armstrong's historic "one small step" statement, Conrad said, "Whoopee! Man, that may have been a small one for Neil, but that's a long one for me!") (sadly, he died aged 69, in a motorbike accident)
