quiet

no, we're not going to sing along with Bjork again. . .
.
altho, for some reason, thinking of Bjork makes me think of this
.
. "can you wait for ever
if time is all it takes. . ."
.
and falling stars make me think of this (not that I want to rule the world, cos I don't)
.
and thinking of stars coming out make me think of this guy and lighting up the sky makes me think about this:
.

and if I fast forward in the soundtrack of my mind from the night I saw the aurora, I get to walk around the Big Apple again, singing along to this (which wouldn't scare the children of today but did used to make me shiver)

and one of the other thing I taped to listen to on my Walkman at the time was this* which I love because I've always wished I could bend strings. . .

so what have you got at the end of the day?

what have you got
at the start of yours?
HAPPINESS, I hope
..
XXX .

(*nice how the zylophone on that takes us almost back to the beginning, and Patrick Moore, eh)

What a tune filled morning.

And the start of my day? Brilliant moon light awakened me as it crept across the sky very low, very silently.
Crisp air, twinkling stars--moonlight dancing off the iced branches... *happy sigh* A very peaceful awakening.

Which starts a very full day, as luck would have it!
That simply means that I won't be bored, eh? ;-)

*hugs*
Happy middle of the week! (already!!!!)

Patrick Moore, Patrick Moore
Galloping through the sward
Patrick Moore, Patrick Moore
And his horse Concorde
He steals from the rich
And gives to the poor
Mr. Moore, Mr. Moore, Mr. Moore

Patrick Moore, Patrick Moore
Riding through the night
Soon every lupin in the land
Will be in his mighty hand
He steals them from the rich
And gives them to the poor

Do you remember that Python bit?

I had the pleasure of hearing Mark Knopfler perform Private Investigations in person a few months ago..

last night I watched the gloved one moonwalking on YouTube whilst investigating Pop & Lock Dancers from the 70s for a future posting...

and Patience by Take That is still on heavy rotation on my playlist no doubt destined to lodge itself on my all-time-fave list.

I'm not at all embarassed to say that I like Take That (mainly cos I'm not embarassed to say that I like Abba, The Eagles and The Beatles!) donnnnnnnn

I'm quite (ok, very) envious of you and Mr Knopfler. . . do you like the soundtrack to Local Hero too? I'm familiar with lots of Python, but not that! I love the way you introduce me to stuff

thanks
