and if I fast forward in the soundtrack of my mind from the night I saw the aurora, I get to walk around the Big Apple again, singing along to this (which wouldn't scare the children of today but did used to make me shiver)

What a tune filled morning.
And the start of my day? Brilliant moon light awakened me as it crept across the sky very low, very silently.
Crisp air, twinkling stars--moonlight dancing off the iced branches... *happy sigh* A very peaceful awakening.
Which starts a very full day, as luck would have it!
That simply means that I won't be bored, eh? ;-)

I had the pleasure of hearing Mark Knopfler perform Private Investigations in person a few months ago..
last night I watched the gloved one moonwalking on YouTube whilst investigating Pop & Lock Dancers from the 70s for a future posting...
and Patience by Take That is still on heavy rotation on my playlist no doubt destined to lodge itself on my all-time-fave list.
I'm not at all embarassed to say that I like Take That (mainly cos I'm not embarassed to say that I like Abba, The Eagles and The Beatles!) donnnnnnnn
I'm quite (ok, very) envious of you and Mr Knopfler. . . do you like the soundtrack to Local Hero too? I'm familiar with lots of Python, but not that! I love the way you introduce me to stuff
