dates II

(oh, this one could run and run)

(possibly that will be my running, in the opposite direction from said date, as fast as my legs will take me)

what is there to say? well, it's all very curious! (I might leave it at that, actually)

what did I say about myself, on my "profile"? (you don't really want to know) (do you) (do you?)

will the activity bear fruit? (or veg!) (wonky-shaped ones now being acceptable EC fare) (that's me covered)

will it give me more interesting things to write about than the river and the tide and the weather and the view in general. . .

we'll have to wait and see!
.
have a great Saturday, ya'll
.
(I'm having a quiet relaxing one,
here at The Tower, as it happens,
on the basis that two potential suitors have cried off
and secretly I'm quite relieved)

Oh certainly you can't be foresaking one for the other?

I rather like hearing about the view. Definitely all puns intended there.

Welcome to a relaxing Saturday where the only date Mel has is with himself.
Once again-- an excursion to the stupid grocery store.

Rawr.

Yathink I can faniggle a stop at Toys-R-Us if I'm cooperative?

guess what my profile quote is shot. . .

"I'm no Cinderella, but I scrub up well"

!!

mel she's 73, but seems 53 - she's incredible, an inspiration - has experienced similar difficulties as I have, but for different reasons - I'm buying a set of her etchings, of seagulls as viewed over the river - she's taught me a lot in the short time that I've spent in her company (the card doesn't begin to indicate her talent!)

I'd go to toystore before the grocery store, if I was you, and then the arts/crafts shop, and then a coffee in a great cafe with good people watching. . . mind you, this is why my fridge is mostly empty!

Well, I think they are quite profoundly remarkable...to be snatched as at as we plunge past it

Perhaps it could give you interesting things as well as the tide and the river and the birds and the lights and, and, and....
Whatever is in view really - it's often beautiful and inspiring and sometimes sad but always interesting.
