glad you think so

(I mean glad you think it is lovely; not glad you think it's morning, or good)

Yaknow.......
Mr. Glass' piece is just the 'Opening' to more.

I knew that closed sign wasn't about the move.
I know you know.

And as sure as I know the sun's still under the clouds even when I can't see it shining, I know there's purpose and a reason Monday morning is happening for the two of us.

I'll defer to Mr. Walcott who says it much better than I...
"The time will come when, with elation you will greet yourself arriving at your own door, in your own mirror and each will smile at the other's welcome, and say, sit here. Eat.

You will love again the stranger who was your self...."

And until that time comes when you can and do--I'll keep loving you enough for the both of us......

there, you had to go and make me cry, didn't ya

actually, you can't make me anything, I know that much - I have to do it for myself, don't I? with a little help from my friends. . .

Is it unrealistic to look at the bright side, to remain generally positive, and to expect the best in life?

No, because reality itself is neutral, and what you get from it depends upon how you view it and what you make of it. The raw forces, circumstances and events are, for the most part, out of your control.

Yet you can completely control the way you perceive, respond, adapt and yes, even prosper under their influence. The control you exercise over your own perceptions, thoughts and actions will make all the difference in your life.

Reality is what it is, and your own relationship to that reality is precisely whatever you choose for it to be.

(and it is Monday - SP's lilac carpet for the blue room finally turned up)(I got the carpet guys to carry up the window box I made for her yesterday - miniature lavenders in the middle, little blueish/pinkish/whiteish flowery things bobbin' around at the front, trailing ivy with white/green leaves at the egdes, deep purple pansies poppin' up at the back)(she'll move back in with me at some stage, I hope)(we're waiting on the black-out blinds now. . .)
