actually. . .

. . .that wasn't the song I had in mind earlier when I was thinking of you lovely lot

I was out having a fag in one of the gardens (of which this place has various), there are six randomly planted silver birch trees - I happen to love silver birch, especially really mature ones with that beautiful peeling bark and elegant but scared trunks, a little like palms I always think - and the breeze was rustling thru the branches and leaves (the birch are very tall, and altho disparately planted they are close enough for the leaves to become one shimmering daphled mass way above you when you gaze up to the sky - which today was azure and filled with sunlight) and it sounded just like the very edge of waves on a sea shore comprising a miriad of multi-coloured tiny pebbles, sand and fagments of shell. . .
.
kind of white noise, but not fuzzy;
gentle, relaxing, calming - but stimulating
a kind of a contented sigh of nature, I guess

. . .the song I was thinking of during all this was Elton's Your Song - because the sun was shining down on my shoulders and my back and I was kicking moss about under my feet. . .
.
however, we've had Elton already - so let's give him a little rest, shall we, and listen instead to

The MOST
Gorgeous Man in the
WHOLE WIDE WORLD

(there follows a hint, if you don't know to whom I'm referring)
.
.
the following photo is from the film Big Fish (do you love Tim Burton? I do. . .)(if you've not seen BeetleJuice, thats' what got me hooked), and reminded me a little of Dorothy falling asleep in the poppy field, or whatever that field she fell asleep in was. . .
.

(if you haven't seen Big Fish, I loved it, so you might)

. anyhow, back to Ewan!
did you realise this guy could sing?
.
enjoy
.
and if you liked that. . .
.

.
. . .enjoy again!

I still can't get the hang of this 'finding men gorgeous' malarkey. Is this Obi-Wan Kenobi in his brothel-creeping years?

I, Like The View said...

gordie I don't like him bearded particularly, so that didn't do it for, his Obi-Wan days

loved him in that early movie about junkies

perhaps you're not sufficiently in touch with your "gay" side, if you can't see how beautiful Ewan is. . .

sorrow he is a gent, thru and thru - I watched a programme about him planning a second trip with his motor cycle buddy Charley to go the other direction around the world (one show was called Long Way Round, circumnavigating, I think, and the other Long Way Down, Scotland to tip of Africa)

I've not seen M Rouge all the way thru, but like Big Fish masses

sorry I haven't been over to see what you're up to, but this ECT has kinda knocked the stuffing out of me (feel like a scarecrow - no brain and no straw anywhere else) and can't concentrate properly

Even this straight pig farmer can tell he's gorgeous - don't get reading anything into that!

He also seems like a thoroughly decent bloke.

Big Fish is one of my favourite films.
