Give a little bit, give a little bit of your love to me, give a little bit, I'll give a little bit of my love to you, There's so much that we need to share, Send a smile and show you care, I'll give a little bit I'll give a little bit of my love to you, So give a little bit, give a little bit of your time to me, see the man with the lonely eyes, take his hand, you'll be surprised! Give a little bit, give a little bit of your love to me, I'll give a little bit of my love for you, Now's the time that we need to share, So find yourself, we're on our way back home. . .

Going home, don't you need to feel at home? Oh yeah, we gotta sing

I'm so glad to see that you're back on "good morning" form, dear dave!

It's not that good actually. I've had a lot of stress the last few days. I wish I were back in the Orkneys. Feel like running away from it all.

you know, if I didn't have my three POVS in tow, I'd suggest we started a croft on the Orkneys. . .

. . .that was one thing I'd told XCH I always wanted to do in life (altho then my destination was the outer Hebrides)

but I've spent all the money on the Polish Five now

:-(

5 acres on the Orkneys = £20,000. I may be able to afford that and a caravan.

Sadly, I'm being serious. I may well be homeless in 3 months time.

the day after I found out I'd lost my £8k and all the new furniture, I found a sofa with 70% off. . .

it's coming tomorrow - and, altho I didn't realise at the time - it's a sofa bed

so if you ever wanted to visit London you wouldn't need to end up in The Teen's den, or Middle One's Lego lair, or Small Person's blue lagoon. . .

(the Polish Five are very unhappy that a girl's room is being painted blue)

. . .you could borrow my four-poster, and I'll camp out on the sofa-bed!!

or, (if the rain held off, and it was a clearish night) you could sleep on the hammock on the roof terrace and stargaze thru the London light pollution!

I know that's not as cheering as thinking you have a real home and I'm sorry for your bad/sad news

more hugs

And lots of warm, healing thoughts for youself.
I do hope things are better for you this morning.
Lots got better for me when I just showed up and hit the link.
Funny how that works, eh?
(and I'll admit I hit 'play' a number of times)

(and a special thanks to shot for his part in bringing it all to me this morning)

Let SP have a room to her taste.

I like Dave's latest picture.

thanks mel, things did get a little better. . .

the new living room is looking beautiful. . .

(and tonight I have a date!) (Patrick - current BD - again. . .)

*happy sigh*

the new room is gorgeous. . .
(where's the darn camera cable?!?!?! wanna show you! played all day: hung up mobiles, arranged my Shaker Noah's Ark on the mantel piece, under that piece of art that yearned for me - just as well I bought it when I did and it wasn't a sofa - planted trees, put up fairy lights - the Polish Five said "not Christmas!" - they need to be shown the "some is good, more is better" way with twinkly things, methinks)

gordie he's talented, eh. . .

and SP's room would already be blue if I hadn't spent al day having fun!

Ack! Where's that cable!

And what fun.....omgosh, I was excited just hearing about the putting up and out of 'stuff'.

:-P pffffffffffffftttt and pshaw to the Polish Five!
