I'll do the party-bags and the washing up (cos those are my favourite bits)
music suggestions would be more than welcome. . .
are you really OK with fancy dress or would you rather do party hats, or masks, or face paints?
I have a plan for the venue (anyone afraid of heights?)
there will be snacks, but it's not a sit-down dinner - so please eat before you come
*scratches head*
what else do we need
for a really great party?
for a really great party?
your suggestions are very very welcome - it's your night too
the lurker from Credit-Suisse can bring some chocolate or a cuckoo clock perhaps (we'll need to know when it's midnight, so I don't turn into a pumpkin) (and if you're coming from Manhattan, my Zabar's mug is broken, so can you get me another? I'll pay you back!)
now, I don't want pressies, cos I hate surprises - so if you're feeling flush just make a donation to your favourite charity, alright, or buy your local hobo or bag-lady some fags and a coffee. . .
(since there, but for the grace of g*d, go I)

A party? she smiled with obvious glee, as long as i don't have to make the dresses, the mens vests, the center pieces, the vegetarian food, or take the photo's, I 'm in!
sorrow if that's how you feel, just turn up honey - your presence will be my gift
:-D
mel that's all sounding good, and remember "if some is good, we want more"
;-)
craig perfect! (you can land directly on the roof, altho if you do you won't meet Charles. . .)(this will make sense on Thursday)
:-)
I shall you bequeath you Freddie!
erm. . . sure, why not - can he go up stairs, or shall I get an elevator put in? (is he OK in confined spaces?)(actually, do you know what, I'll put in a glass elevator!)
XXX
:-D
would you like me to bring my new piano?(I'm sure someone will be able to tinkle the plastic!)
And I like fancy dress.
And I'd better bring the camera;the sight of Freddie in a glass elevator would be too good to miss!
I've been waiting for a fancy schmancy occasion to wear my new tux.
I hope that the faux terrorists from Die Hard don't crash it but if there's trouble I'll be John McClane..
even though I am afraid of heights..well not the heights so much, it's the sudden impact after reaching terminal velocity that I find distressing.
See you Thursday!
*doing happy dance*
We get to watch piggies!
AND Freddie gets to ride in a glass elevator.
*trying to think of good elevator music*
:-)
Is it Thursday yet?!
OK, I'll have a few piano lessons before then, brush up my Grade 5 Dvorjak (or perhaps The Entertainer, which is what I used to prefer to play!) - thanks dinahmow

donn a man in a tux. . .

I am off to do another fitting on this blasted gown, and i need to double check measurements on the mens vests....
I may be late to the party, my pumpkin has a flat and my magic carpet is on strike...( High fuel costs dontcha know)
sorrow don't sweat it honey, I know you'll be there in spirit. . .
