paralysing analysing - pah! TAKE THAT !!!!

the most amusing (and possibly useful) things to come out of my two visits to SHE were the tunes on the radio that were playing when I drove away. . . what does that tell you? actually, don't bother answering that, it's probably rhetorical anyhow

. . .I find that the random tunes on the radio are sometimes the most enjoyable things about trips anywhere at the moment, but less of that. . .

last week it was "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor, this week this song:

You, you're such a big star to me
You're everything I wanna be
But you're stuck in a hole and I want you to get out
I don't know what there is to see
But I know it's time for you to leave
We're all just pushing along
Trying to figure it out, out, out.

All your anticipation pulls you down
When you can have it all,
You can have it all.

So come on, so come on, get it on
Don't know what you're waiting for
Your time is coming don't be late, hey hey
So come on
See the light on your face
Let it shine
Just let it shine
Let it shine

Stop (stop)!
Being so hard on yourself
It's not good for your health
I know that you can change
So clear your head and come around
You only have to open your eyes
You might just get a big surprise
And it may feel good and you might want to smile, smile, smile.

Don't you let your demons pull you down
'Cause you can have it all,
you can have it all.

So come on, So come on, get it on
Don't know what you're waiting for
Your time is coming don't be late, hey hey
So come on
See the light on your face
Let it shine
Just let it shine
Let it shine.

Hey, let me know you (let me know ya)
You're all that matters to me
Hey, let me show you (let me show ya)
You're all that matters to me.

So come on, get it on
Don't know what you're waiting for
Your time is coming don't be late, hey hey.

So come on
See the light on your face
Let it shine
Just let it shine
Let it shine.
Hey,let me know you (let me know ya)
You'reall that matters to me
Hey,let me show you (let me show ya)
You're all that matters.
Let me know you
So come on
See the light on your face
Let it shine
Just let it shine
Let it shine.
.

oh well, they were OK, I guess. . . and the above is just right because of mig's comment the other day (actually, the videos don't really work for me - some things work best audibly not visually)

I do love Take That's theme tune song to Stardust tho! play it full blast in the car on a sunny morning with the roof down singing along with Smallest Person if it comes on as we drive to school. . . oh, and I've always like this one too:

I guess now it's time for me to give up
I feel it's time
Got a picture of you beside me
Got your lipstick mark still on your coffee cup
Got a fist of pure emotion
Got a head of shattered dreams
Gotta leave it, gotta leave it all behind now

Whatever I said, whatever I did
I didn't mean it
I just want you back for good
Whenever I'm wrong just tell me the song and I'll sing it
You'll be right and understood

Unaware but underlined I figured out this story
It wasn't good
But in the corner of my mind I celebrated glory
But that was not to be

In the twist of separation you excelled at being free
Can't you find a little room inside for me

Whatever I said, whatever I did I didn't mean it
I just want you back for good
Whenever I'm wrong just tell me the song and I'll sing it
You'll be right and understood
And we'll be together, this time is forever
We'll be fighting and forever we will be
So complete in our love
We will never be uncovered again
Whatever I said, whatever I did I didn't mean it
I just want you back for good
Whenever I'm wrong just tell me the song and I'll sing it
You'll be right and understood I guess now it's time,
That you came back for good
.
ps: a million love songs later, and here I am, just trying to tell you that I care. . . (they all look so young, and Gary's got a sore throat, poor love)

You're finding some good advice in the random music that enters your life. Meanwhilem I am getting increasingly confused by the references to SHE...

*waving*

A grand Sunday morning to you, ma'am.
*checking clock*

k.....obviously a wee bit early to click on links and give a listen (not for me, but I'm sure himself wouldn't appreciate the early wake-up--anything before 8am is categorized as 'it's the middle of the night'...)

I must say I'm now excited at the prospect of rollin' down car windows and crankin' up the tunes.
*checking*

27 degrees---I'm thinkin' not today! LOL

A fine Sunday to all, despite the sudden proliferation of Take That!

shot indeed, they are; and as you point out there are known ones and unknown ones. . . sometimes I think I shall write the important stuff in the comments, just to urk the subscibing lurkers

gordie premium advice, did I never explain who SHE was then? thought I did. . .

dave and to you to

mel that sounds suitably hot to me, but maybe I'm getting my farenhiet/centrigrade mixed up!

steg, a fine one - despite Take That. . . . (now I feel the need to apologise - wasn't ever a TT fan but I do have a bit of a thing for Robbie)(do I have to apologise again?)

Oh!

AND he made me watch Millennium, or however it's spelt........and went on about James Bond.
Which led, somehow, to Monty Python....

LOL
Don't ASK how that happened..LOL
It just DID.

Don't all things lead back to Monty Python? LOL
