. . .I've got stuff to do this morning: house stuff, head stuff, teeth stuff (it's OK, dave, I'm not going to propose to him) but I hope to return to my keyboard later and share my thoughts with you
you lucky lucky people you
(yeah, even you at the back, lurking)
oh, and I'll be dishing out the Crunchies too!
(but don't tell anyone, or there might not
be enough to go around)

oh oh !! and, I have a very important piece for you all entitled "Multi-Coloured-Swap-Shop"* (mel, you'll have to ask The Brit) and you may need to rack your brains a little, so get practising!
(*and I do promise that Noel Edmonds will NOT feature)

Wow.
That's a whole lotta 'stuff' to be trying to attend to....
I now has a list of questions to plague himself when he arises for the morning!
:-)
<----taking her spot in line for promised crunchies!
I want some of that life assurance stuff, too, please.
No Cheggers either, I trust?
Oh.
And I might be a TAD envious of those who get to sit in their gardens and watch the skies transform......
Three more inches of freshly fallen snow this morning.
*sigh*
but, see, mel dearheart, I have snow envy - so we're quits!
and steg definitively definitely absolutely no no no!!! (can't even bring myself to type to whom you are referring)
(and mel the life assurance doesn't assure you of a life, sadly - but you are the best I know of making the most of every minute of everyday, that is a sure thing)(and that makes me smile even on my very worst days, so thank you muchly)
(oh, and, she continues, it was too much to attempt - so I cancelled the dentist. . .)
Yay, Crunchies!
and just where are the holiday snaps?
(oh, and in answer to your earlier question, that is a most lovely image on the side bar there! (-: )
er, didn't take the camera as it's still full of the last holiday's snaps (long story, won't bore you with the details, and if I did Ms Mel would only grumble at me cos I still haven't found the cable)
however, I did buy lots of postcards which I didn't get around to sending. . . which I fully meant to scan in and upload
only I'm knackered
so, verbally, think: sand dunes, camel trains, dormant volcanoes, lava flows extending the landmass of the island into the sea, black beaches, lichen on the magma fields, SP and a bunch of girls she befriended sucking lollipops provided by yours truly at the edge of the pool, SP dripping blood from a cut on her foot, SP covered in mosquito bites, my good self the day I forgot the sun tan lotion regime, three days of rain and grey cloudy skies, four nights with a full moon and Orion and The Plough, an Abba tribute band, a Beatles tribute band, a flamenco dancer with the most amazing guitarists, lots of coca-colas and ice cubes and lots of (white) cups of coffee (covered in goobers, mel!) and one very exhausted me and you get the picture
XXXX
C:)
could do with that refreshing glass of lemonade craig - put a bit of zest back into my life. . .
;-)
maybe I should buy some this weekend and try making my own!
:-D
I trust you are well?
I am well, thank you, and I'm glad to see that you are too (albeit a little hectic and frenzied, but hey... c'est la vie. Non?)
The lemonade is here and waiting, and if you hurry you can make it just in time to help shovel the next snow storm coming through tonight. C:)
oui, c'est la vie
can we make lemon flavoured slushies by mixing the lemonade and the snow. . .
%-)
I don't know, I'd be deeply suspicious anything that looked like snow that had lemonade in it...
you have made me LAUGH OUT LOUD!!! that is so funny (andonly a bloke could have thought of it, you top geezer you)that I'm having trouble wiping the grin off my face (I have very good bladder control, so I'm not pissing my pants, you'll be pleased to know)(ha ha ha)(that's a kind of joke within a joke, isn't it. . .)
thanks steg, this is what blogging is about for me (as much as drinking craig's lemonade)
When in doubt I tend to resort to schoolboy/toilet humour. Or sarcasm, that always works well for me.
Pleased to have put an enduring smile on your face - my work here is done.
Dreamed I was an eskimo
Frozen wind began to blow
Under my boots and around my toes
The frost that bit the ground below
It was a hundred degrees below zero...
And my mama cried
And my mama cried
Nanook, a-no-no
Nanook, a-no-no
Dont be a naughty eskimo
Save your money, dont go to the show
Well I turned around and I said oh, oh
Well I turned around and I said oh, oh
Well I turned around and I said ho, ho
And the northern lights commenced to glow
And she said, (with a tear in her eye)
Watch out where the huskies go, and dont you eat that yellow snow
Watch out where the huskies go, and dont you eat that yellow snow
Frank Zappa
Shame about the holiday snaps. but I do get the picture indeed.
It's a wonderful picture :)
You'll be needing a rest.
*nodding*
Plenty of snow--of the non-yellow type, of course!
Ah yes, the grass is always greener where there's no snow...LOL
I'll simply revisit these whiney posts of mine come July when it's 101 degrees in the shade---that'll help me find a trace of gratitude!
(yeah, right....LOL)
k........another crunchie, please.
That's IF there's any left given that it's near ten in the evening and already Saturday for you.
Oh where oh where has her cable gone
Oh where oh where could it beeeeeeeeeee?
(feel free to sing along!)
;-)
