Well, its a marvelous night for a moondance
With the stars up above in your eyes
A fantabulous night to make romance
'Neath the cover of October skies
And all the leaves on the trees are falling
To the sound of the breezes that blow
And I'm trying to please to the calling
Of your heart-strings that play soft and low

And all the night's magic seems to whisper and hush
And all the soft moonlight seems to shine
In your blush

Can I just have one a more moondance with you,
My love
Can I just make some more romance with a-you,
My love

Well, I wanna make love to you tonight
I can't wait til the morning has come
And I know that the time is just right
And straight into my arms you will run
And when you come my heart will be waiting
To make sure that you're never alone
There and then all my dreams will come true, dear
There and then I will make you my own

And every time I touch you,
You just
Tremble inside
And I know how much you want me that you can't hide

One more moondance with you in the moonlight
On a magic night
In the moonlight
On a magic night
Can't I just have
One more dance
With you
My love
.

Marvellous! "American Werewolf In London" and the divine Jenny Agutter in the shower.

*sighs*

I, Like The View said...

do you know, I have never seen that film

:-0

Jenny A reminds me of The Railway Children, which I never liked

%-(

glad you're having lovely thoughts about her showering tho. . . but that's not where I expected this song to lead!

it used to be one of the songs the band started the first set with, the BVs even had a little choreography (the absolute limit for my brain first thing at a gig - coordinated singing and dancing)

so I was thinking about people in pretty dresses dancing under twinkly lights; well, girls in pretty dresses I suppose

:-)

I do apologise for my late morning erotic fantasy invading your comments!

Girls in pretty dresses. Indeed yes. Jenny Agutter in a remarkably short pretty dress in "Logan's Run".

*sighs again*

Look, I'm sorry about all this. I'll be over here in the corner. Just ignore me and I'll soon calm down

I lurve this song. I should really get a few VM albums (do the kids still call 'em albums?)

What a lovely song to get stuck in my head for the drive to work. Thanks.

Lovely, romantic vibe. And Irish. Embrace your life, sweetie. Take it in your arms. It wants you!

Coordinated singing and dancnig!!!!! I couldn't even spell it right.
If I want to speak while playing the fiddle I have to plan it half a tune in advance (and then it usually comes out like "glrrrug!" or "mmmmnng!")
:)
