yet another Friday

they just keep coming around

it's dark and rainy and miserable here, and if it wasn't for the fact it was so early in the morning I think a bowl of soup would be the order of the moment. . .

so let's have some anyhow - my favourite being French Onion Soup (we'll skip on the crouton when we serve Ms Mel) and a close second Heinz Tomato Soup

Heinz! not Campbell's
(and certainly not condensed)

I'm going to have to speak to the Picture Editor again. . .

hey look - a cushion!

actually, revisiting Warhol, his supermarket stack certainly had a lot on offer - Cream of Mushroom, perhaps, or Chicken Noodle. . .

of course, there're the regular items in the side-bar. . . as for me? I'm off to make a coffee

my machine is on its last legs and I'm debating which way to go on the coffee front: you know, Nescafe Gold Blend, a student basic filter pot. . .
.

one of those electric pots where the coffee is made in the top and drips into a jug and sits on the heat until it turns into mud; a squashy coffee maker. . .

the European style (my favourite) as issued to Italian soldiers in some war or other because they weren't expected to start their day without a decent cup of coffee. . .

choices choices
(if only)

actually, that would look good in my kitchen - but perhaps decor should not necessarily be the guiding light on coffee making, eh

good morning Vicus (I was about to write "is it?" but that seemed rude)

Coffee, please.

The squishy kind, thanks.
Two creams, one sugar--and the pot.

I don't ask for much, huh? LOL

you are more than welcome to a pot of coffee chez moi, scream and sugar, whenever you wish

in my real life I have a wonderful coffeemaker with a timer....which wakes up just before me and has the nectar awaiting my arrival...

these days I use a small squishy one which the teamster brought me in an effort to end the coffee wars and bring peace to me and my stepdad....smile.

Good morrow, friends!Of course, it's Saturday for me, but I'll take a fresh jolt any day, any time. None of yer instant muck, either!
And, yes, I did see the Klimt , but didn't have time to comment then!Love Klimt and Kandinsky.Klee, too.But if I say I like KKK people think of fiery crosses!
I think I need another coffee...
