is that how argument is spelt?
are we really meant to argue?
why is this making me think of being in dire straits?

I think there's an extra e. Good day.

see, I did too! but it went thru the spell checker ok. . .

(. . .perhaps it's an American thing)

is it a good day?

It's a slightly better day than yesterday was.

I, Like The View said...

that is good then

Yes it is.

Of course, as everyone knows, if you type in:
man: why did you get a divorce?
at the unix command line prompt you get the response:
man:: too many arguments

The hours I have spent laughing at that. The rm command is just as funny.
If you type in:
rm wit_of_dave
you get:
rm: wit_of_dave nonexistent

Anyone want to quarrel with that?

I, Like The View said...

your : and ::s are different in each of the above examples

not that I'd want to argue with you about that

What's with the : and the :: ?

maybe you aren't thinking of being in dire straights....maybe you are thinking of singing dire straits...(and I just read you other post....)

<-----does not excel at spelling.
