ache

my back hurts

*frowns*

I blame XCH's mattress, his bed

many eons ago, in another place and another time and another life, it used to be my bed. . . (well, our bed techincally, I suppose). . . and XCH slept on "my" side; now I find myself sleeping on "his" side - which is my side in reality, because it always was, ever since I owned a double bed. . .

quite how it happened, historically, that XCH ended up on my side of the bed, I don't know. . . if it happened when he first moved in with me, just after I had purchased said double bed (not with a view to him moving in, you need to understand) I must have had to have moved my alarm clock and bedside lamp and bedside table and diary and pile of books, read and unread, from left to right

(he moved in with me, you see: my space, my home, my flat, my furniture, my bed, my side. . . became ours, and - as it turns out - eventually his)

or perhaps it happened when we first moved home - I can't remember now and it doesn't really matter

it's just one of those things

Don't dread your books. Books are friends.

Funny how that happens, huh?

Left side of the bed sleeper......I wonder if there's an analysis of that.
NOT that I'd give it much creedence, mind you.

I claim rights to flop over any ol' whichside I end up on.
But the stack of books remain on the left--and are starting to invade the right. LOL

Darn good thing winter is comin' round and I can start whittling away at that stack.....

I can't seem to get into my stack at the moment mel, altho I did really enjoy rereading TTTW - perhaps I'll just read it again!

Isn't it strange how events evolve.
From mine to ours to yours & mine..
the only thing missing is the Y?
