the most lovely necklace turned up in the post

a golden orb, with a spiral on each side that meets in the middle

suspended on a long thin piece of leather, to just the perfect length for holding onto, when you need something to hold onto

to reassure you that the world is still there, despite the fact it seems to be blowing away with the clouds from the sky overhead and the dust from the ground beneath you

sorrow made it for me, as part of a project called "Passing It Forward" (the details of which I will explain, soon enough)

I am clutching it now, tightly, in the palm of my hand - it is a perfect fit
