home sweet home?

*contented sigh*

it's weird tho, I don't know where anything is. . . cupboards, drawers, closets - it's one big mystery to me! the POVSs think this is hysterical: XCH was very sweet about it, cooked me dinner - taking the time to explain the nuances of the oven - and then departed with a huge grin on his face, leaving me to the discoveries that awaited my every step and turn

I can't remember actually living in the new house and during my absence the remainder of my belongings from the rented house were delivered by the landlord's men. . .

. . .well, "dumped" being the more operative word

so my beautiful space is no more: clutter abounds, boxes of books for which I have no shelves are stacked teetering in piles veering towards the ceiling, boxes of other things similarly. . .

most of these boxes were the ones from the cellar of the rented house, unopened since "we" moved out of the village over a year ago - g*d knows what's in them (I don't!)

WELCOME HOME!!!!!
Bit of an adventure then and voyages of discovery. And er, lots of help from the children I hope?

Lotsa love and lotsa luck with the upacking :) I would wish you peace and plenty but the one looks to be hidden under mounds and the other you obviously have enough of :) I hope the coffee machine is on top somewhere.

OH let the coffee machine be on top!!!

Just sayin'......

:-)

Welcome home.

Yup, I'm sure it's all a bit upsidedown and insideout--but it'll right itself....with a bit of time and effort.
One box at a time.
Let people help you.
It doesn't need to be completed all in one day, yaknow!
Heck, this is why there are still boxes unopened from the move to the little yellow house.

Wow...if they're still unopened, that probably means I don't really NEED what's in there, huh?

Yeah, but I bet there's treasures in 'em!
:-)

k.....I might wanna think about an adventure in the storage room, huh?

((((((((((( ILTV ))))))))))))))

REAL coffee!!!!!
And POVS!
AND a huge hammock to lose yourself in!

Yup.....welcome home!

Welcome home - wherever it is.
Take your time and enjoy rediscovering your books.

Rimshot said...

LOL, at first I thought Kaz had said, "...enjoy rediscovering your boots."

And I (without my specs on) read "rediscovering your roots."

Well, there's probably a valid connection somewhere!

You take your time, kiddo and we'll all still hang around, mis-reading you and offering advice!

By the way, the Crunchies are up for grabs among the others as I prefer 70%chocolate-with-chilli. Can't stop myself!

Aaargh, Ziggi singing Peters and Lee. Methinks I need to give the bewitching one a musical education.

Tell me, O immemorious friend, does music trigger memories? What happens when you put the radio on? Do you still like what you used to like? what thoughts come to mind as you listen?

((((I,LTV))))

Just fire up the popper and we'll taste test the stuff.
