.
I once had a girl, or should I say, she once had me...
She showed me her room, isn't it good,
Norwegian wood?
She asked me to stay and she told me to sit anywhere,
So I looked around and I noticed there wasn't a chair.
I sat on a rug, biding my time, drinking her wine
We talked until two and then she said,
"It's time for bed"
She told me she worked in the morning and started to laugh.
I told her I didn't and crawled off to sleep in the bath
And when I awoke, I was alone, this bird had flown
So I lit a fire, isn't it good,
Norwegian wood.

I hope I'm not reading too much into the song selection. Specifically the title.

Good morning. Time to get out of the bath now, and come and comment on some blogs that haven't heard from you for a few days.

Was it the photo of my legs that so shocked you that you haven't been able to comment at my place since?

Mel, I must admit I'm a little worried now. Have tried texting her all day, but they bounce back 'unable to deliver'.

Dave said...

OK, don't panic people. I've heard from her today. She's OK, but without access to the internet.

Thanks for the update Dave.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

But I still miss her.

cool.

so much love.

Mel said...

Yup...loveable and loved!

Poor thing has to contend with people being emotionally attached to her in the distance.....cuz she matters in their lives.

That IS a cool thing, huh?!

((((((((((( ILTV ))))))))))))))))

Absent from the internet but not from the hearts of people who care aboutcha.

It worked! It worked!

*sending more peace-filled, warm thoughts*

I never quite understood this song...although this was written during their psychedelic period was it not?

So John was prolly so stoned that he thought that he had gone to bed...
and then burning her bedroom set after she left for work was very bizarre, but it was his way of getting even...wow...he sounds like a nutcase?

I'm fairly certain that there would not have been a second date.

The song is actually Lennon's lame attempt at fessing up to an affair.

Slightly less worried than I was before reading the above comments.

*hugs*

I probably shouldn't have tagged you for a meme, then....
