true colours, in a black and white world

You with the sad eyes don't be discouraged
Oh I realize it's hard to take courage
In a world full of people
You can lose sight of it all
And the darkness inside you can make you feel so small
But I see your true colors shining through
I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show
Your true colours, true colours are beautiful
Like a rainbow

Show me a smile then don't be unhappy,
Can't remember when I last saw you laughing
If this world makes you crazy
And you've taken all you can bear
You call me up because you know I'll be there
And I'll see your true colours shining through
I see your true colours and that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show
Your true colours, true colours are beautiful
Like a rainbow

Grey.

I, Like The View said...

then I refer you back a little, to Visage and Ultravox

(unless you wear grey flannel suits, of course, in which case you might want to stick with Patti)

Red. A deep intense red, like the tulips at my place.

I, Like The View said...

one of the walls in the new abode is a red, quite deep and intense but slightly too blue-pink, it was supposed to be coral pink edging on almost brick red/maroon

(I'm very fussy about deep intense reds)
