back to life. . .

. . .back to reality
.
*hums*
.
I just saw a bumble bee!
.
*buzz*
.
and when I logged on, google told me it was Earth Day - so that's a nice coincidence, isn't it
.
SP goes back to school today - it will be my first day in over a month without any Small People (actally, seeing as how The Teen is over 6' 2" and Middle One is way taller than The Teen was at the same age, and now SP is creeping up to almost being the right side for her age, I might have to start calling them People of Varying Size) (which reminds me of the ROUSs from The Princess Bride) (Rodents Of Unusual Size) around

I should really be packing her lunch
and polishing her shoes
,
so I'll catch you later!

Make sure you concentrate. Shoe polish for lunch is not good for a growing child.

Awwwwwww....people still polish shoes, huh?

Geeze.....don't think I even own a bottle of shoe polish anymore.

And no, that's NOT a sign of complacency OR age.

But----inquiring minds wanna know what was in that lunch bag.......

Happy schooling to SP!
Happy quiet house to you!

mel a bottle of iced tea (peach), an apple, a cheese sandwich (white bread - she doesn't like brown or wholegrainy seedy bread), a small cheese thingy (mini baby bell), a yoghurt, half a brownie. . .

:-)

it is beautifully peaceful!

:-D

happy Tuesday darlin'

gordie she doesn't like Marmite, so there is little chance of me spreading her sarnie with something dark and sticky. . . (altho, come to think of it, she likes Nutella - so maybe I do need to pay due care and attention!)
