;-)
Not really my cup of tea.
I've never had lychee. Are they sweet? Nutty?
Ohhhhhhhh....move over for himself!
He's ALL about lychee...just had a can of them last week--which was promptly devoured.
I waved happily and told him to 'have at 'em'.
Coffee, thanks.
At this hour--black does me good!

Mel I have a tin in the cupboard, but just recently I've taken to buying them fresh. . .
there's always coffee here for you

shot they are very squishy and juicy, kind of fleshy, not very sweet but just enough, the stone in the middle is a beautiful shape and very very smooth, the skin kind of cracks off like an egg shell (but not quite as brittle), if you eat a whole bag of them stragith from the fridge your stomach goes cold (but they are nicer chilled than room temperature); the flesh defies descritpion really - not like many other fruit. . .
try them yourself!!
Dave what kind of tea do you prefer then?
You failed to mention that they're slimey. LOL
Which, I guess if you don't mind slime, isn't necessarily bad...
;-)
Tummy is mended thank you I. (Well, as near as makes no difference - I've given up on paying it any attention). I've never been sure about lychee. Whether they're too slimy to eat or interestingly slithery. Coffee on the other hand :) - I've been missing coffee (it doesn't do tummies and favours)
glad to hear that Mig! I think lychee are quite delicious - a little bit juicy and smooth perhaps - kind of like a peeled grape
