lichen
Dave has posted some wonderful photos of trees and tree bark today, and it's prompted me to show you what I'm doing in the evenings - a tapestry. . . only I'm not embroidering the flower, I've continued the lichen pattern (and added some moss, because I had spare green threads from not stitching the flower) across the cushion. . .

Ohhhhh.....pretty!
You're such a creative soul.
I, on the other hand would need to take a photo of tangled yarn on the floor to show the progress (or lack of) being made on my project.
Oy......
the thing is, the other day I looked really carefully at some lichen and moss on a wall, and I don't think I've gotten the moss quite right. . .
. . .so it's going to be more of a kinda random pattern
oh well! the fun is in the stitching - keeps my fingers and my mind busy while the children are being children
(-:
I'm making a cushion, from scratch, at the moment. I'll publish photos if it works out as planned.
If you can possibly manage the time, could you fashion a couple with a Lycan (werewolves) motif?
sigh.
lovely...
unlike mel I haven't even opened the packages I have. I use to love needle work. although I am not sophisticated enough to have the ability to change the pattern
I'm missing that time and....um...being linear...to do that again.
sigh.
