rid yourself of your needs?

I needed a smile this afternoon. . .

I needed something. . .

. . .to bring a smile to my face

desperately, I needed to smile

to reassure myself that all was not wrong with the world (well, my world anyhow) - and by sitting here, doing this, thinking of what I wanted to say to you lovely people (yes vicus, I include your good self in that haphazard grouping of somewhat random individuals) (that's not very well written - I mean my grouping is random and haphazard, not you lovely lot) and this brought it to me. . .

altogether now:
"oh yes he is!"

katherine try not to write things like that when you're directly under vicus - it will give him ideas. . .

;-)

sorry.

usually I pay closer attention to whom I am directly under.

I'm laughing now. . . (but not at vicus' expense - nor yours. . . but you do have a cracking sense of humour, ya know)

Well the link told me that the video was no longer available.
No problem since the whole comment box is bursting with smiles and laughter :)

oh that's such a shame mel. . .

. . .it was a live version, with full audience participation, of "A Dedicated Follower of Fashion"

but how great that you were smiling along with katherine and I, on an afternoon when a smile was very much needed

<-- likes the idea of the both of us smiling

(you do it for me, frequently)

(as does vicus, rather bizarely [how many zs should be in that word?] - but he is so often so wonderful - so why does that seem odd? there are some things one shouldn't question, eh)

I had such a sad weekend, but by the end of it I was smiling anyhow

so, how does that balance out? one can be smiling whilst sad

isn't that strange
